Last Night's Sunset From the Deck

In the last decade, Ely--where we're visiting for our 29th anniversary getaway--has been named the nation's "Coolest Small Town" and now has been named by National Geographic as one of the "World's Best Adventure Hotspots." In a feature by the magazine, Ely joins Moab, Utah, as some of the world's great outdoor destinations. Last year Jason and I just happened to go to Moab on our anniversary to visit and see Arches National Park. Now we're in Ely. We didn't know how cutting edge we are. If only we were a little more adventure-seeking. We're happy to take an early morning walk and sit on the deck and watch the sunset. In fact that's just what we were doing last night. And it was spectacular.
